JMT AD-Servo Series Hydraulic Press Brakes

POWERFUL AND ENERGY EFFICIENT

Due to the ever increasing demand worldwide to decrease our carbon foot print, and become as efficient as possible JMT has developed the new AD-Servo series of press brakes. Currently we are able to offer these highly sophisticated eco-friendly press brakes in 3 sizes. The AD-Servo 25100 8 foot 4 inches bending length, and 110 tons.

The AD-Servo 30100 10 foot bending length and 110 tons. The AD-Servo 30135 10 foot bending length and 150 tons. And finally the AD-Servo 30175 10 foot bending length and 192 tons.

THE CAPABILITY LIST IS CONSIDERABLE

These machines come with 5 axis c-n-c-controllers, (Y1-Y2-X & R) with motorized wave crowning. The heart of these machines is the Delem DA-66T Controller. Highlights include but are not limited to: touch screen, direct navigation, 2D programming, 3D programming, auto bend sequence and collision detection. This control is designed with highly effective algorithms that optimize the machine cycle and minimize machine setup. The DA66T also comes with an RS-232 port, 2 USB 2.0 ports, and is “teach in” on all axis.

THE BENEFITS ARE EVIDENT

The AD-Servo line of press brakes whole concept is to minimize power consumption. Since these press brakes are completely servo driven the power consumption of these advanced press brakes is something on the order of less than 40% power consumption of a conventional press brake of equal size. Due to the “on time hydraulics” concept these brakes utilize in that the hydraulics turn on and off and run only while needed, many benefits arise from this operational method. Less hydraulic oil is required for these brakes minimizing maintenance costs, the oil stays at a much cooler temperature throughout the use cycle, extending the oil’s life and helping to maintain piece part integrity and angular accuracy. Because of the servo drives, the movement of the brakes is considerably faster in all directions when compared to conventional brakes, the result of that is increased productivity while maintaining + – .0004 accuracy and repeat-ability in all directions. If your parts are really long, ask us about tandem, trio ,or even quad configurations of the AD-Servo we do them all the time.

Of course as with all JMT press brakes the AD-Servo offers the “trio advantage” of large ram height, deep throat and large stroke. Other standard features include American/European box punch clamps, 25.6 inch X axis travel with third gauge step capable of gauging 39 inch parts. AC Servo driven back gauge on linear guide, 2 front sliding support arms, safety interlocks on all doors and a rear work light. Of course World Class components abound on these press brakes, every major component is made by some company you have heard of.

THE AVAILABLE OPTIONS MAKE CUSTOMIZING EASY.

This options list could be almost endless, we will just list the major ones here, if you don’t see something you want, just ask us we probably have it. Since safety is of the utmost priority, at the top of our list of options is the AKAS-LC (anybody have a “trade mark symbol put it here) World Class laser safety system, considered to be the best you can get for a press brake. Light curtain Sick C 4000 for combination machines. Additional axis up to 14. Extended travel back gauge to 39 inches with safety light curtain. Sheet follower with motorized height adjustment. Updated c-n-c controllers from Delem (DA69T) or Cybelec (10S,12S,15S, 3D with PC1200). Quick release clamping, Hydraulic clamping, Wila or Wilson mechanical or hydraulic clamping, tooling options from the “who’s who” of press brake tooling. Bottom tool positioning systems, thickness measurement systems, offline software for V-Bend or Profile-W.

RIGID FRAME CONSTRUCTION & DUAL HYDRAULIC CYLINDERS

The foundation of all JMT press brakes is a solid, mono-block frame made from mill certified, high-yield steel. As a result, JMT press brakes perform accurately and reliably year after year. We’re so confident in our frames that we offer a 10-year warranty with our standard machines.

Dual hydraulic cylinders located on either side of the ram provide faster approach speeds. The cylinders are synchronized to provide smooth motion resulting in precise ram positions to accuracies of .0004″

WIDE FRAME STANCE

 

JMT press brakes can easily accommodate parts with deep bends and that require long tooling because of our open space design. Our machines typically have deeper throat depths, larger daylight spaces and longer stroke lengths than any manufacturer in the market.

We’ve also mounted the RAM GUIDING on the outside of the frame to maximize the distance between the side frames so our press brakes can accommodate deep part flanges.

MANUAL F. AKAS II M

Because of the versatility of press brakes and their uses, safety at the point of operation is the responsibility of the owner and operators. JMT offers the ram-mounted AKAS-LC Safety Light Guard. Located at the bending level and based on the location of the punch tip, this system helps prevent injuries. Transmitter and receiver are fixed to the ram of the machine and form a laser-optical safety light grid that follows the ram or punch tip.
