The Mazak VC-Ez 20 is a vertical machining center configured for high-mix, low-volume production environments. Built on a rigid, one-piece cast iron base with linear roller guides on all axes, the machine features a 41.34″ x 20.08″ table. The spindle is a 25-horsepower, 12,000 RPM CAT-40 unit that maintains thermal stability during tight-tolerance milling operations across various metals. A 30-tool automatic changer manages tool transitions to minimize non-cutting time.
The system runs on a MAZATROL SmoothEz CNC control, which features a 15″ touchscreen supporting both conversational and traditional EIA/ISO programming. The machine’s design incorporates an optimized physical footprint with integrated chip management and accessible service points for standard maintenance.
