A.W. Miller is a premier supplier of CNC machinery and manufacturing solutions, partnering with leading builders like Mazak, Okamoto, FANUC, and other top-tier machine tool manufacturers. We’re hiring a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair CNC machines at customer sites across Eastern PA. You’ll work independently in the field, with strong support from our service coordination team — diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues and getting customers back up and running fast.
• CNC controls and platforms: FANUC, Mazak, Okamoto (multi-axis machines, lathes, vertical/horizontal machining centers)
• Machine installs, commissioning, alignments, calibrations, and functional testing
• Mechanical, electrical, and PLC/control troubleshooting and repair
• On-site training for customer operators and maintenance staff
• Service reports, parts usage logs, and job summaries
• Travel to customer sites throughout Eastern PA/Southern NJ/Maryland/Delaware (day trips and overnights as needed)
• Work independently while staying connected with service coordinators and OEM contacts
• Maintain your company vehicle and tool/parts inventory
• Build lasting customer relationships through reliable, professional service
