Programming with SmoothEz CNC

Mazak equipped the QT-Ez 10 with a SmoothEz CNC control, giving manufacturing engineers a streamlined programming experience. It supports both Mazatrol conversational and EIA/ISO formats, allowing teams to switch without sacrificing accuracy or cycle time. In addition, Quick Mazatrol speeds up part-program creation, and Mazatrol Twins provides offline programming. As a result, engineers can build and edit programs without interrupting production. These features maximize spindle utilization and improve workflow efficiency on busy shop floors.

 

Reliable Design for Precision Results

Mazak built the horizontal machining center for stability and repeatability. Its integral motor and MX Hybrid Roller Guide System deliver smooth, accurate motion during heavy cuts. In addition, pre-tensioned ball screws, supported at both ends, maintain consistent performance during long production cycles.
